The red circles in front of the car make it seem like you'll fall into a sinkhole of mystery. Did that app just show up recently?

Went out to the car and checked my apps and no kidding, new app to tell me roads are uneven.

Hopefully unrelated, but I've been noticing iDrive has been slow to load. The instrument cluster is good to go, just with no maps in the middle, and the control display hangs on the BMW surrounded by moving lines thing for a while longer before showing the legal disclaimer and loading my main screen.

I just noticed this in the last couple of days. The car alerted me to uneven pavement, though I didn't see or feel any in the area it said it should be.

What is the source of data for the alerts? Is it using data from other iDrive owners to determine where the uneven spots are?

Well, I did an extended iDrive reset (full 70 seconds) & then updated apps & services. Then after a few minutes, this new app appeared, but haven't seen it in action yet

In Taiwan, we don't have this app. Maybe it has region limit.

This notification is very distracting since it forces you to take your eyes off the road to read the warning. It's not really helpful in LA since every few feet there's an 'uneven surface'. I tried to find a way to disable it last week but to no success. Thank you for sharing!!

You can find the "Uneven Pavement" app and turn off the notifications that way.

I found the app and disabled it. Or so I thought. The next day usually the warnings would show again as if I didn't disable the app. Very odd.
