Hi folks:
First time poster here. I have recently purchased a 2011 X3 F25, normally aspirated I6 with 105,000 km. The car is very clean and though the previous owners had regularly serviced the car, they were the type to drop the car off at the dealership and just simply asked the dealership to do whatever needed to be done. Fortunately, that dealership provided me excellent service history. The dealership were not able to provide any record for the tranny. So I have just completed that service as a DIYr. So this is not a 'how-to' the tranny service - there are many excellent such posts already here. Thanks to all. But rather, a plug for the Autophix 7910, which I just got from Ali Express:

This does provide live transmission temperature data via the path in the pix attached. My apologies - I'm not sure why some pics are oriented poorly and they may not be in order. All this to say this device appears to have the similar capabilities to scanners like the Foxwell scanners for a bit less coin.
