This raises the question of "swappability" of grilles among the 330, 340, and M3. Anyone have any info? Of course, good-looking aftermarket parts will likely follow in short order given this need.

I'm just curious who is going for this car right now. A decently speced 2020 340i is going to run you ~60,0000. I'm not sure if their discounting it but assuming you can get invoice, your looking at like 740 a month lease with tax. With only a 1-2k discount, your looking at over 800 a month and this is all before you start adding m perf parts.
You could find a brand new, 2018 M3 Comp for around ~75k. Get it around 65-68k, your lease payment would be the same if not lower than than the 2020 340i. Low to mid 700s.

The new G80 is at least a year away from release. Issue, maybe not, would be the M3 badge attached to the double slant grill, but this can be removed via the screws. In the past, BMW NA has debadged the side M decals for the M sport models that come standard for the rest of the world. I haven't reviewed the US order guide nor the M performance parts for the G20. What are the grill options?

Is the size of that steering wheel exaggerated in the photo..? My tiny inferior baby fingers hurt just looking at it.

Such a damn shame what has happened to BMW...
Unless driveability is an 11/10, and I seriously doubt it, this is the final step in BMW's evolution. Congratulations, you are now a generic automaker posting your biggest profits ever on the basis of quantity over quality! Lexus, Honda, Audi and co. have an open seat at their table for you. |

Yeah...I hate to jump on the hater bandwagon - but I just can't get with the new look of the 3 series. The grill is atrocious and the rear, while not terrible, is generic. Here's to hoping the M3 and 4 are better looking, because I love the AWD system in the new M5 but I'm not going to get either one if they look as bad as this.

me! I know it’s a 3 series, but I expect slightly more road presence. I think the car looks decent in black, but the asking price and styling are throwing me off! Last edited by BigSky702; 04-08-2019 at 03:28 PM.. |

Agree. I'm guessing those are Goodyear Asymmetric 3. If so, those tires are horrible. Sidewalls poorly designed and fail so easily. Not just my experience. Can't believe BMWAG approved them for the G20 after the nightmares on the G30 and other models.... Then again, all BMW cares about is to keep production going and if Pirelli and Bridgestone can't supply enough product, we get Goodyear.

So much hate. Hate or sour grapes, one or the other. I think the G20 looks great. As far as the grill, I could take it or leave it. It's definitely not a deal breaker.

Another thing to consider is how in 3 years, the 340i will lose like 50% of its value, the M3/M4 wont.
