G21 M Performance kit ordered

Bit the bullet and ordered the M performance kit in gloss black plus front splitter for my G21 in Oxide Grey hoping it compliments the Shadowline too. Slightly nervous as I don't want it to look cheesy but I think the performance kind of deserves something special externally. Thinking I might also go for the AC Snitchzer lowered springs.

Photos as she is right now before the mods will keep you posted on progress…

I had the M performance kit and ACS springs fit from new by my dealer. Best decision ever. ACS springs don't drop the car as much as Eibach but are 'covered' by BMW and give the perfect ride height, no real worry about the front splitter being too low etc.

That's good to know … ive already kerbed the 19" alloys twice in just 6 months! Must be old age.
Yes I thought the ACS option on springs at least was a risk worth taking. Backed out of any other mods for now. Did u any more to yours?
Love to see a pic of it too.

like this?
It's the gloss black without the front lip extenders.
No lowering and it's an xdrive so now with 1500kms, not a single scrape yet Many speedbumps in my hometown so no plans on lowering it as well (would look a bit better I know).
love the look of the gloss black with the oxide grey and the other shadowline goodies!!

Diffuser I meant to ask. Does look good with the black and still quite a rare colour.

Does anyone know the ride height on 19" vs 20" wheels. Should they be the same ? Just wondering if you can tell if ACS springs have been fitted

Should be the same, 20'' wheels have a smaller sidewall resulting in poor ride quality but better handling. I think 20'' look better.

Had mine fitted to my MG G21, I don't think the pics do the kit justice, looks a lot better in the flesh.

So dropped her off today for the kit to be fitted. Expected the worst for a curtesy car but pleasantly surprised … big car needs the b58 engine nice drive but not convinced about the looks. Not sure if swap!

This isn’t 100% true as I’m looking at this right now. ACS springs is warrantly friendly by some dealers, basically a gentlemen’s agreement but not by BMW UK

Pucker her back up today VERY PLEASED indeed. Photos just don't do it justice. But was quite striking from a distance especially the rear.

Splitter is very effective visually and really looks original equipment.

I also insisted on having the old parts back which they did no qualms.

Next stop ACS lowering kit.

Will take some more pics another time.

What do u think??

Oh - and Sytner BMW Nottingham were excellent throughout. I'm going to change my servicing to them now. Worth the extra journey. Derby BMW were pretty useless recently when I tried to buy a touch up paint kit!!

The M Performance kit in gloss black finishes the look on the G21 and is a great combo with Oxide Grey but needs the M340i badge in black to put the cherry on top..... Oh, and lose the M Performance stickers but that's just my personal preference
