I'm scheduled for production, but I'm still waiting to hear back on what the scheduled date is.

Approximately how long do I have now? Never ordered a car before.

It shouldn't be long, but these are not normal times.

Out of curiosity, when did you pre-order?

An order goes to "scheduled for production" about 3 weeks +/- from a vehicle going into production.

Assume it will be in production this month.

Yup. Mine went back to "Scheduled for Production!"

I called BMW Genius and found out it was Week 23. End of May/first week of June. Can't come soon enough.

OP - call 844-443-6487 and give them your production number. They should be able to give you your week.

Mine just changed to 'Scheduled for Production' also! I am a week 23 build - M50 in San Remo Green/Cognac/Carbon interior trim. Pre-ordered on day 1 last June when BMW opened the pre-ordering system.

Looks like the M50's are coming.

Mine is a Tazenite, cognac leather and carbon fiber trim build. I also have the 20" wheels.
I have been told since Dec/Jan that my build week was 21. I also placed my money down June 1

I'm seeing a pattern on build weeks, interior color and trim.

Yup. I remember that. I'm closer to Germany than yourself so I'm betting on myself!

I am going with the standard 19" wheels (861M) to get a little more range. The 20s are nice, but honestly I prefer the 19s.

Another pre-order at my dealership cancelled and I was next in line. They apparently didn't get very many of the pre-orders assigned to them to begin with.

Same here, Preordered at the end of July in Socal and its been nothing but crickets... honestly pretty BS on BMW's part.

end of October order date and getting it on the lot in August.......so 9 months or so to deliver? I hope you're right, and I hope that is indicative of how long it will take to get mine (ordered end of Feb). If I could get mine by December I would be ecstatic.

mine finally moved to scheduled for production, it was originally week 15 schedule but it changed to order received. now it's scheduled for production on week 22
