I do not have my 330e yet, but, does it mean you did 57km with one charge?? And you still have 3km of electric range left and then less than 1l/100km of fuel consumption. Is that correct?
That is correct!

This is in line with my first all electric test yesterday.

19 miles indicated at full charge
15 miles commute with 5 miles left indicated.

Nowhere near 36 miles - Will try Hybrid mode and see what I can achieve.

Edit - Second time fully charged says 24 mile range so agreed that previous driving styles can increase expected range slightly.

My other drive today. Don't mind the low avg speed, it's about 77 kmh but I was standing still for quite some time before I took the photo.

Outside temp 9c.

BMW 330e range problems

I received my BMW330e msport pack last week. Since the first charge I never got more than 40km range. Also charging time is more than 6 hours. My dealer told me that they will have to keep the car for 2 days testing. Anybody with similar experience?

Depends on the cable. If you're using home socket and the charger you get with it I think that's right.
Mine takes 3.5 hrs with the thick cable and a car charger at the side of my house.
Range yeah, I was getting the same if you're doing more than 120 kmph on the battery alone. You'll get 50 if you stay at 80 but zero fun in that.

The cable is the correct and so is the socket. Even in BMW's service fast charger i get the same time.
The driving conditions are almost perfect, 22 C temperature, no aircondition and speed up to 70 kmh. I'm bery disappointed cause that was the reason of choosing this car, to get 60km for my daily route...
Local dealer has absolutely no clue on the car. Everything is new and unknown for them.

Managed 48km on a longer trip yesterday. Mixture of motorway/A roads with some traffic between.

Driving around town/short journeys you'll only get 35km

I believe the 60 km should be a mix of city and highway so it can recharge on braking and slowing down. If your trip consists mainly of motorway I'd be harder to get that mileage I believe (and experience). Please scroll a couple of posts back to see my results.

I managed to get 60 electrical during a 70 km trip but cannot get 60 out of a single charge. So it relies on Charing on the go as well.

Go into the charge settings on the car and make sure it is set to 16A

Since the car is rated 60km I never expect to get that, the F30 was rated 40km and never got anything over 25km
I usually get 47km now and my commute is 46km so just about make it on the battery

Thanks for the reply. I would definitely agree on having 50 km and not 60km in reality. It is difficult for me to accept half of range for a car of 75000€.i drive only in town and the aircon is set close to outside temperature. I also believe that recharging from braking etc should not be part of the range of the car. I have already set the charge at 16A although the indication says 10A when charging. I ll give a feedback when I return from dealers inspection.

How much are you getting on highway only? At a "regular" 120km/h average can you get 40km on highway? That’s my daily commute, and I will be able to charge both at work and home, so almost 40km (95% highway) is my sweet spot

Just got back from a 72 mile round trip.

38.8 miles (62.4km) electric in Hybrid Eco Pro mode!

Quite impressive considering it fully depleted the battery on the first leg (around 26 out of the 36 miles)

Sounds like a proper test for long distance driving.

I'm seeing a little reduction in range last couple of days. Weather is getting less nice, colder, more rain and wind. This has its effect on the range. Instead on averaging 50 electric kms it drops to 40-45, depending on the wind.

First long drive since I got my 330e, quite pleased with results. 61.4 mpg. Drove mainly on hubris eco pro with the odd blast of xtraboost on the lanes. 90% motorway/fast dual carriage way. Stuck to speed limits 98% of the time so 70mph. When I left home this morning it told me I had 24 miles of charge. So to add 14.5 miles to that is quite good I think
