Wheel fitment help please!
Hey everyone. I bent two of my stock wheels on a pot hole on a canyon run, and they cannot be repaired so I am currently out a car until I get some wheels.
OEM was 225/40ZR19 8in all around I’m looking to get Curva CFF70 19x8.5 offset +35 on all four. From the research i’ve done, it seems like for a better fitment(no rubbing the inside) i’ll need spacers, at least 15mm. I was wondering if i could slap on the oem tires as they have no tread loss or damage. If the stock wheels had a center bore that is smaller than the new wheels is that a problem? And if someone could just let me know if those specs will even fit. Thanks! |

pardon my ignorance bc i questions asked a lot, but I dont understand the point of buying aftermarket wheels and still using spacers. why not buy wheels with the proper offset in the first place?

Personally I couldn’t find any wheels I like in the stock offset. So i went with wheels that would be closer to stock offset with spacers. I don’t think your question is ignorant, i was searching for a while for stock offset wheels that I really enjoy, but couldn’t find any. I understand where you’re coming from tho.

got it, ive always used spacers with stock wheels (on both of my audis and my wranglers) as a holdover for a nice look until i went aftermarket wheels and then got them in an offset that was nice. I do find with these M340's, there are so many different combos of what people run. with my s4 it was an extremely narrow band of widths and offsets that people ran that looked good.
