Possible to code in Ambient Lighting?

Hi all,

I've looked everywhere and although i've found some threads of people looking at parts to retrofit the Ambient Lighting on a G20, I was unable to find a concrete answer as to whether it's possible to even code this in in the first place.

Has anyone had any success with this, and if it can't be coded in can you still wire in all of the led / fiber optic cables on the doors and have it default to some color? It would be nice to be able to control the different colors through iDrive but even if not and there's just one color that's still an upgrade. The cabin is surprisingly dark which was a complete surprise when I picked this up.

These are the parts needed apparently.
