Will the M Performance spoiler look okay on M340i without black trim?
Hi guys,
I’m about to buy an M340i in Portimao Blue that’s already on its way to the dealership. It has no options apart from the tech pack, so it doesn’t have the Shadowline pack. However, I really think the rear spoiler is too subtle and understated, so I am thinking of asking the dealership to add the M Performance spoiler. My question is, do you think the vehicle will look ok with a rear spoiler on it even though it won’t have the Shadowline pack? Or will a black rear spoiler look out of place? Everything else will remain stock, so the Cerium Grey grill and side mirrors will stay, and I’m not putting on a gloss black rear diffuser either. I need to make a decision very quickly as it is due for delivery soon. |

It'll look fine. Lots of cars have trim bits and bobs that are gloss or flat black, even if the rest of the car is a different color with some chrome bits here and there too. You see it all the time with front lips and splitters, diffusers, exhaust surrounds, door handles, etc.
