Update 03/2020.58
Had my car serviced in june and they updated me to 03/2020.58. I have been trying to figure out the version numbers and how the order works. is there a reference so far? also i don't have spotify as media option, i have no apps anymore., weather app is gone. i wanted to get the car tuned by mission and figured i needed to remove my dme. now i'm not sure as i feel like i'm missing basic features and am not even sure how new my update is. My bluetooth js also choppy and cuts in and out randomly. wouldn't call this an update.

I have the same update as you. Hold down the volume button to reset iDrive and everything will come back. It's a very solid software update.

thank you for your response and suggestion! i tried holding it until it reset twice. no spotify; no apps period. just 2 apps, the assistant and another. pretty frustrating as i'd like to avoid a dealer visit. any other ideas by any chance?

That's unusual, for most people the reset works and restores all apps as they were pre-update.
Are you sure you hold the power button long enough? It takes about 40 sec until the screen goes blank. You may also try to log out from the driver's profile and login again (or switch to guest and back). More drastic option - delete your existing profile and create a fresh new one. Not sure if it helps but that's what I would try next. |

^^that's what I was going to say as well. If you hold it down for 70 seconds it will cycle through two full reboots. Also log out of your profile and log back in. Should work.

I have the same issue with 07/2020, just got the car. Weather is there, but nothing else, I don't know what apps I should have, but I have nothing, not even spotify. Did all the procedures, still same.
Does anyone have a list of all the apps which should come? |

Yeah so for me, i tried to login as guest then login as myself. I also held the volume/power for 70 seconds, saw it reset twice(navigation starting splash screen after and all) Im not sure if i should just remove my profile and recreate it? Or reset everything?
All i see is this: noa22 did you mean this? |

I have the same firmware as you and the same exact problem except I can’t get back my climate control rules either. I’ve tried everything like you except for resetting everything back to factory settings which I am also hesitant to do.
