I didn't want to poop on their post, because that's gauche, but the more I see people try to re-invent the front end of the G8X, well, all I will say is that I don't think any of the efforts result in an improvement. At best similar. And potentially far worse....

Agreed. I do however think that the Vorsteiner is the best out of the re-designs.

I am a convert. I hated the OEM front bumper the first time I saw it online, but I've grown to like it now, and more importantly, appreciate how it distinguishes the car. I'm glad it's different than previous generations.

I used to think it was fugly; then I saw enough of them and it was ugly, then I bought a CSL and realised .... Who cares, it drives like a bat out of a cave; nobody has enough time to see it to be able to make a comment

I never hated it, but didn’t think it was an attractive as previous gens.

At some point I turned to liking the aggressive look and difference from a regular 3 series. Looks tough.

It’s not classically beautiful by any means, that’s for sure. I definitely hated it at first until I saw it in person. In person, there is a purposefulness to the design that does, as you said, lend a certain sense of brutality that suits the car. I think my favorite 4 door M3 remains the E90, the F80 was up there but honestly it’s not aging as well as I thought. The E90 in my mind seems cleaner.

The G80, well, I think it’s too fussy. Too many details for details sake. And I wish the nose was pulled in juuuuust a tad. But compared to the face of the current G20, no thanks!

5 months late.......OEM factory. I like it.
