Saw TiMSport 's "survey" the other day if anyone regrets buying their G20/22.

This gave me the idea to ask you about another aspect of your lease/buy: which function/feature gives you the feeling that you regret getting it or missing it?

(the question itself is imperfect because the word "regret" might sound like I want to give you anxiety but I swear that it is not my intention )

I regret not having moonroof and comfort access....if I had to buy now I wouldn't put Driver assistance pro as I rarely use it during my daily trips

Adaptive suspension, Laser lights, Dravit Gray with Cognac.

I selected every option with the exception of an individual paint color and merino leather. They would have added an additional 2 months to my build at the time so I didn't want to wait.

Would buy Mineral Grey/Cognac/Oak again, very pleased with this combo.

• Adaptive suspension is a must if you drive in a metro area with a passenger, especially if married to that passenger.
• Thought about upgrading to H/K but figured I would give the standard system a try. It is not great.
• Not sure about Laserlights. I got them because it is always a good idea to upgrade lighting, but until their full potential is available in the US it was probably a waste.
• Did not buy the Driver Assistance Pro although I would have bought adaptive cruise if available as a stand alone option. Personally, too old for self-driving cars.
• Bought the spare tire, and I don't really use my trunk, but it does take up a considerable amount of room. The tops of grocery bags get bent by the trunk lid.

In almost every way the car has exceeded expectations.

In my case, I cannot say because I don't have my car yet. Having said that, I occasionally wonder whether I should have gone for the laser lights but realized I didn't need them even if they are cool looking. Outside of an individual color, I think I ordered everything I wanted.

I absolutely needed to have the upgraded HK audio system because I'm pretty sure the stock system probably sucks. I always go for the upgraded audio because I like enjoying music when I drive. Unfortunately for the M340i in the US market, BMW forces you to get a couple of other options and tie it in as a package which is stupid. End result is paying a few grand for the HK. To this day I can't understand that, especially considering the fact if you buy a standard G20 330i, the HK is available as a standalone option!

Don’t regret the moonroof, mine creaks like crazy. It’s super annoying.

I had red leather seats in my 430i and went black in my M340i and I totally miss the colour. Wish I’d got a colour interior. Possibly the blue seats.

I never open the sunroof and would have deleted it if I could have. H&K is a must and I’m glad I ordered it. It should have been the standard sound system with a higher end option. I don’t use the wireless charging so I should have skipped that and ordered the power tailgate instead. That I now realize I would use.

I do wish I got H&K but I can't complain about the stock sound system, just some tweaks with the treble and bass and I'm a happy camper. Part of me wishes I went for Cognac leather, but friends of mine said to avoid it if you ever plan to wear blue jeans. Is it really that prone to staining? I know my friend's white leather on his old F80 M3 turned blue in less than a year.

Cognac is barely prone to any staining, and anything that does leave a mark is easily removed. Oyster I would be a little more concerned about but still easy to clean (vernasca is a very easy maintenance leather).

I have almost every option on my M340I including factory 20 inch rims, m performance exhaust and gloss black body trim. Because it's an individual paint (nardo grey), the drive assistance pro is missing. No lane keep or lane change assist. If I had factory ordered with one of the standard paints, then I could have got the drive assistance pro as well. Or if I had spent another $20k, I could have got an M550I which I liked... But, it was $20k too much for me so I'm happy with my M340I.

First non-black interior for me and I went with cognac. I do wear jeans a lot, so we'll see. I've been looking into the best type of Armorall-esque wipes to keep in the car just for wiping it down on occasion. Haven't decided on one yet.

Shadowline pack, but have just ordered the black grille, front trim, exhaust tips and wing mirror caps to replace the cerium grey bits.
