KW V3 coilovers on M440i or M340i?

Has anyone installed KW V3 coilovers on their M440i or M340i? I’m interested in making this modification and would like to hear from anyone with firsthand experience. Thanks

KW V3 are a good choice, but also take a quick look at the Ohlins R/T coilovers

I just had them installed on my M340i. The change in handling is mind blowing. The shop I used to order and install also did a 4 wheel alignment and set the suspension based on experience and road testing. They did not stick with the factory settings. What all settings were made I'm not sure, but here is some pics for reference. They are comfy when just driving around, but when I get on it in the curves they stiffen up nicely and actually make the steering wheel feel connected to the front end. The car is now extremely responsive to steering inputs and put a big smile on my face.

Do you know how much they lowered the front and back from stock? How did it effect camber? Thanks

Pretty sure minimum drop is 1.6”.

Here is a copy of the alignment sheet poorly translated from German.

Links mean Left.

The set of numbers to the left is the alignment as it arrived to the shop the numbers on the right is after corrections.

As far as the actual drop I would estimate 1.5 inches at the front and 1 inch in the rear. I can ask, but don't know if the shop would be able to say off of memory.

I hope this answers your question.

Looks great and I'm glad it's performing just as well
