G80 M3 tension struts on G20?

Has anyone tried to fit the G80 tension strut arms on a G20?

This might be a good alternative to increasing steering feedback without going the full monoball route.

Not that I’m aware of, but imo the G80 stock steering wheel feedback is not much better than G20. In fact, when I drove the G80 at Thermal, I felt steering was more numb than my G20 with monoballs.

That is rather disappointing no one has tried it.

I'm looking to add a bit more feel without all the drawbacks of a solid spherical bushing. As long as it is stiffer than the stock G20 bushing, then the G80 part may be a good buy.

I think one of the reasons why is that the few G20 owners of us who want that additional steering wheel feedback are able to achieve our desired increased NVH and steering wheel feedback with the monoball option. IMO, the ones willing to upgrade monoballs see no downside.

I'm sure there are people who want an increase in feel without the drawbacks. Plus the easy plug and play nature of a OEM BMW upgrade.

I have spherical bushings on my track car and I truly hate them on a street car. They wear out and clunk and have zero give when you hit pot holes. Not to mention make everything in the car rattle loose.
