Code gear indicator while in D?

so i discovered it is possible to code so you can see which gear you're in when in D

but anyone knows how to code it?

You need a trans tune for that.
You can look into xHp if you're interested in that.

i saw that on xHP. so it's just a code. definitely don't need a transmission tune for that (i don't want a transmission tune). wondering if anyone knows the coding.

I believe you can get an emulator that you hook up, that will give you the gearindicator.

There is no coding for it, if you don't believe me, you can keep searching this forum, it was already discussed in the past in other threads.
The gear information that is displayed is reported by the TCU (transmission computer), which only reports "D" while in Drive. It is only possible with a transmission tune.

xHP is not just a code as in your normal esys coding, it's a modified TCU firmware.

You can´t code it, because the transmission needs to send this information...
The standard transmission software doesn´t provide this information.
Only Alpina or third party software like xHP.

It´s been a discussion for years and the result is always the same, you need a transmission software.
