edit: I see the confusion now. The MSRP is 63k not 58k. Typical shady dealer offer sheet that doesn't even have the MSRP on the offer sheet, that's just sad.

So in summary, you have a 63k MSRP that they're selling to you for 55.5k. 5k of that comes from a discount, 2.5k of that comes from rebates/incentives. On top of that, you're paying a 4200 refundable deposit (I assume this is 7 MSDs to get the MF down).

Finally, you're writing them a check for $6573 on day 1? $4200 of this is a refundable deposit so the rest should be acq. fee, doc fee (dang that's high!), and DMV fees.
Yes...and the doc fee is outrageous - and also pretty ubiquitous in this state.

Also, if I'm reading this right, the first workup sheet shows 15,000 miles, and the most recent one shows 10,000 miles.

Yes, that was a mistake they made as well...not the most precise bunch there.

Hi, can you provide your lease deal here (how much money up from, taxes in or out, monthly, etc) Really getting into lease deals on this car now but its hard to compare to other quotes because its so new. Any lease quotes would be awesome. Thanks!

For those in Canada the M340i lease rate remained at 3.99%
Incentives grew slightly, from $1750 to $2000.
Loyalty discount of .75% grew to 2%.

I really wish I had that loyalty discount. I've put my offer in, expect it'll be rejected soon

$1000 lease credit
$2500 finance credit
$2000 loyalty credit

This was pulled from May on the 340 - do you get all three when leasing a vehicle, or only get to pick one?

The finance credit would only apply if you're financing.

A lease credit applies if you're leasing.

If you're loyal(Have owned a BMW within the past six months I think) you get that as well.

Is there a way to post money factor also? Knowing residual is great but knowing what base money factor is would be even better. A dealer can't manipulate residual, but they can raise or lower money factor as much as they want from base.

Edmunds has that info. Base for May is .00118

That's true, but a slight clarification - the max they can raise the MF by is 0.0004 (for May, that would be 0.00158).

If you do all your negotiating remotely, you'll never have to deal with any of the "let me talk to the manager" BS.

+1

Do it over email, find the sales manager info on dealer’s website, and contact him directly.

I did some negotiating remotely and they'd call me with the price I emailed them and then would say "let me put you on hold while I talk to my manager" lol

Those bastards got you anyway lol. If one of them tried that on me I would have told them to just call me back or reply back to my email once they've "spoken to their manager".

Dude I would just reach out to BMW David Aviles - seriously he is the best, no nonsense and get your vehicle at your house!! Check him out, he's been a great help to me personally over the last number of years....

Hi everyone,

I just signed a 3 year lease on an m340 on May 8th. The very next day a new incentive that pays for the first two months lease payment shows up on bmwusa's website.

Is there any possible way I can still take advantage of this offer? The dealership ghosted me right after taking delivery of my car.

Update (5/19/20): got a call back from the sales manager this afternoon and they said they will be honoring the incentive; I will need to come back in to re-sign the contract. Super happy right now!

In short... no. You've signed the contracts, there is no 'cooling off' period so what's done is done.

That's a nice gesture on behalf of the dealership! Enjoy the car!

That's so great! Can I ask you to share what the incentive is right now? If I read the last post correctly it appears like BMW might be 'waiving' a few lease payments on new leases?
