His name is Joshua Schneider. I entered my information into the costco auto and used a Chicago zip code 60007. It sent my information to Bill Jacobs and he contacted me the next day. Pretty open about what to expect and the prices. No beating around the bush. Gave me the OTD price with my build code that i put on BMWusa and placed a $1000 deposit yesterday to reserve my spot.
For comparison, Patrick BMW - Jessica Hurley said they had an open allocation for a I4 and that I would be able to lock in the 2.99% APR once I fill in my credit application at BMW FS. I called and confirmed that she did have an allocation, said thats true and that she would sell it to me for MSRP. I submitted my credit application despite me telling her that my credit score is 840 and if i really need to and she said yes. Next thing I get an email from Natalie Gibson their senior sales advisor, Im 5th on the waiting list, cant lock in APR as I need to take delivery of the vehicle within 90 days, the OTD price included $499 BMW trim protection and $599 Security guard etch and a whole lot of fees that amounted to an additional $1500. I got turned off when they said they couldnt lock my APR coz now I wasted a credit check for no clear reason. Didnt want to bother negotiating with them about the silly fees and said NO Thank You !!! |

Yep...I was like...SERIOUSLY !!! I thought you guys were better than that. I would have expected this at a chevy dealership selling Cruzes and trailblazers. Not for a BMW. I guess that standards have gone down a lot...lol.
