Received notification on the app Tuesday that update was available to 11/2022.60, did not proceed as I had some errands to run. Now it no longer shows as available, saying 07/2022.40 is the latest.

Did they pull this back or its just me? 2023 M3CX, delivered late October of 2022.

Yeah, I have a Lightning to Ethernet adapter and OBD2 to Ethernet cable, it’s light years faster than Bluetooth.

What year is your car? Usually if you open the My BMW app and update it, the software update should show up. Wonder if the updates are only for those running ID8. Just did mine yesterday. Said it takes 20 min. Will drive my car tomorrow to see if there are any changes.

So is the update back now? I did it yesterday and it went through without any issues. Also nice to hear from u..forgot all about the Donington..NOT...lol

Updated today on my manual 23. Asd is still disabled and I haven’t noticed anything else different yet.

Update: I didn’t lose some settings. Interior light isn’t red and my seatbelt went nuts taking it off to check my mailbox.

honestly really not worth worrying about, unless you have AT&T and 5G Esim there is nothing notable in 11/2022 or 03/2023. Neither of them fix carplay GPS bug, that is supposed to be coming in May.

Only settings I lost from what I could tell this morning was that remote engine start was disabled and the ambient lighting was reset to bronze. Outside of that my M1 & M2 buttons retained their settings unlike the last time I updated.

I did of course lose my Bimmercode settings so I’ll need to go and do that stuff again.

Mine doesn’t seem to get to step 3 it says the download automatically downloads while driving but it seems like it’s stuck in step 2. Can’t see in pic but Wi-Fi is also connected.

I didnt see a big difference with the update. The home screen was reset and ironically, my M1 setting changed to my current M2 setting and my M2 settings was totally different. The driving characteristic seems to be the same.

I have an issue with my Pixel 6 being angry about the wifi connection to the car not having an internet connection. I end up putting my phone in airplane mode with WIFI active and then it transfers to the car. I didn't have this issue with the iPhone I had before the Pixel, but I've had to do this on both updates that have been available since I got the Pixel.

I got 11/2022.63 from the dealer back in February. For those of you asking about changes to driving characteristics, I did not observe any changes. The transmission/engine burble changes apparent to me with 07/2022 have not been dialed back or changed in any way I could feel or hear. I don't have bimmercode, so I can't say if ASD and light changes are affected. Safe Travels!

Got the upgrade to come through this morning. Same situation as you, M1 setting changed along with M2. I would describe M1 as overall "comfort" with M2 as close to full blown "sport" mode. Did lose my dark / "BMW blue" interior color so I'm guessing ASD being disabled is gone as well, haven't had time to drive around yet. Will have to bust out bimmercode later to change that.

Really is a shame that BMW wont let you turn off ASD altogether. The car sounds fantastic without all the artificial sound being pumped through the speakers. Not to mention the overall sound system quality improves for things like listening to music, which IMO is what the sound system is actually for.

Minor complaints, still give the car an 11/10 and love it. Only real complaint is keeping the damn wheels clean but I see that as a reason to buy new ones

Installed this morning no change to shifting or burbles. Strangely only *some* of my bimmercode changes were reset, windows, anti dazzle, trunk close. Easy to recode. One thing I hadn't noted before were the brake force settings, they were all defaulted to lowest. I coded to what you see below. What are people's thoughts on best settings for these?

I installed yesterday - 2021 G80 6MT. I'm not sure what happened, but I turned off the car when install started and came back 15 minutes later when things were still going on. Something was flashing by on the top of the display (above map view). I think it was all the phone numbers from everyone I have ever received a cell call from whether or not they were in my contacts. I tried getting rid of it, but every time I touched something, it would call whatever number was on the screen and then went on to the next one. It called a number and neither party on the call could identify each other, although voices were familiar. Finally, we figured out who each other was, but it was strange. I shut everything down and restarted. All was well.

I don’t know if the updates are fully functional right away. At first the car had no changes regarding BimmerCode. It’s been a few days now and everything has been reverted except asd.

Didn't notice any changes, except when approaching a speed trap/uneven surface a slight gong sound goes off to alert which is nice.
As far as Bimmercode stuff I recoded B&W sound profiles, Video in Motion, and Disabled ASD normally through the settings.

Mine is still stuck on a 2021 version. I put my VIN in the BMWUsa and it says nothing is required. How can I force a download? I feel like I am missing burbles and what not.
