when to shift + side effects

i know it’s a stupid question but

i have a automatic g20 330i xdrive and am a new driver on my permit

question: i downshift in manual mode at like 2300-2500 in low gears and it revmatches at like 3500-4000 rpms

is this bad for the car? i do it to hear the loud burbles but don’t know if slowly destroying my car

FYI its stock and only drive it in Sport+

You're working the engine harder but it's not bad for the car. You're just making more noise and using more gas. If it puts a smile on your face, enjoy!
