Idrive 8 Map Scale?

Is there any way to display the map scale in the BMW navigation maps? As I increase or decrease the map views I haven't found a way to estimate the distances between points on the map. Any help would be really appreciated!

I dont know if I understood correctly what you meant, but in my G21 iDrive 8, I can zoom in and out with the knob close to the gear shift. Rotate to the right or left!

Every time you change it the map scale is displayed in left bottom corner in iDrive8. Minimum scale is (i think!)1cm=50m, then goes by multiples of 2 - 100m, 200m, etc. I don't know of a way to make the scale display permanent.
