Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Run Flat - Bad Vibration and noise
Is anyone having any issues with their 225/45/R18 Pirelli Cinturao P7 All Season Run Flat tire on the G20 330i?
Our shop car had vibration on both the front (felt at the steering wheel) and rear tires(felt at the seat) starting at 65mph every since we took delivery. We thought that may go away since the vehicle sat on the boat for its trip over and may have flat-spotted a tire or two. A couple of thousand miles later the vibration did not go away. The dealer did a RoadForce balance(much less weight were used than when the vehicle was delivered initially). Still the same vibration. The tires also developed a noise only noticeable between 25-45 mph. Something you would hear on cheap tires or tires that have started to wear unevenly or have feathered edges. It's not the 4x4 off-road tire type of noise. A second visit to the dealer resulted in them stating everything is normal and can't be duplicated. However, as soon as the vehicle was driven on the freeway the vibration is very apparent. Since we have had many issues with other Pirelli tires in the past, we are guessing this tire isn't immune from it. |

I have 225/40/R19 Pirelli Cinturao P7 on my M340i and I haven't experienced vibration even a little, but I got bigger problem, the rear tires are having hard time griping the road if I hit 4000+ RPM...

BMW should have Michelin's and not some cheap Pirelli's that don't run true.
