Charging issue 12V battery
Yesterday I’ve charged my 12V battery with my CTEK charger. After charging auto stop/start works fine again. I drove the car over motorway for 60 miles and changed to my summer tyres. When returning we did a stop in between and since then auto stop/start did no longer worked. I have the feeling that my car is not keeping the battery voltage to the voltage needed to keep all the functions up and running. Any idea what it can be? P.S. I noticed this behaviour earlier, so not the first time.
P.S. not a huge issue, but it better gets solved now that the car is still under warranty. Last edited by StevenDS85; 03-20-2021 at 04:45 PM.. |

A lot of factors affect auto start/stop, so it is not a reliable indicator. You may have air cond. etc at full blast that drains the battery even you were driving. You may also have some equipment (e.g. dashcam parking mode)...
The only way to check is to measure your battery voltage I suppose. |
