Those runs I did the jb+ boost was not dialed up at 100% it was at 75% , recently just turned it up to max but have not done a dragy run yet.
With the JB+, you are stuck. It's either a JB4 or flash tune, like you mentioned. Since your car is a 2021, I'm guessing DME is still not cracked? You might be able to eke out a bit more using a JB4 with a custom map 6.

What catless DP are you running? I might be getting one soon so looking at recommendations for a good catless DP to use with my JB4.

Sadly yes dme still locked .. really a bummer. Might try adding e and seeing how it runs next week. I'll keep you guys updated! I bought my dp used of a member on the forum . The brand is evolution racewerks, I recommend vrsf for the price and it's known to be the go to tbh.

@Dinan_Engineering when will an OBD flash option be available for the G chassis? Is it not possible due to the bench unlock requirement or is it only a matter of time until you can develop a handheld to bypass?

<2020 G chassis handheld is in development. There is no ETA to share however. 2021+ is anyones guess. Breakthrough on the newest encryption could come tomorrow or months/years from now.

So just to confirm, the 19s and 20s with the locked DME that currently requires a bench flash will no longer (once OBD tool is available)?

In a very general sense that would be correct. However there is still the possibility of an unknown box code variant that would not be recognized at the outset. In which case that DME would need to be sent to us to extract/port and make files for.

So the Jordan Tune has been holding up fine. Compared to the base tune which I did the video review of, the car is clearly even faster, with this latest revision. And the power is more immediate with very sharp throttle response. To give you an idea, the difference between Bootmod Stage 2 and the Jordan Tune, is nearly as contrasting as the difference between a STOCK tune and Bootmod Stage 2. I definitely wouldn't want to go back to the Bootmod Stage 2, let alone the Stock tune.

Hey bro what numbers are you running now with the latest revision ? Have you had the chance to dragy? Curious to see Jordan's magic on the b46 .

Are you catless by any chance? Looking into getting a jordan tune but there's a disclaimer on his website saying they will terminate support if found out customer is catless. No refunds lol

I bought the catted Evolution Racewerks downpipe, which I would recommend. On stock it will give you like 15hp. With a tune you can get 20-25 more hp, which is the same as most catless downpipes. Great sound too.

To cheap for a dragy, but with hand timing, 0-60 ~4.6 seconds, and take my word, that is accurate. Feels every bit as fast as my Audi A4 B9 Quattro, Unitronic Stage 1+, with verified 310 hp (290 whp), 4.6 second 0-60. Aside from a proper custom tune, the only other viable option for mid 4 second 0-60 seems to be through a JB4 custom map - and that apparently requires access to E85 blends. (E25-E30). I saw one video on Youtube with a guy on BM3 Stage 2 + downpipe/intake on 93 Octane hitting 4.87 seconds, 0-60 - so any decent custom tune should be quicker than that.

My car is probably around ~300-310 WHP now. 0-60 in ~4.6 seconds translates into a publishable time of 4.3 seconds. By publishable, I mean by subtracting 1ft rollout, which is common practice among car reviewers. If you think about it, 4.3 seconds is really fast - and especially, for a 2 liter, 4 Cylinder.

Anything like MPPSK coming out for the G20? Does Dinan offer anything similar as it is?

With stock plugs gapped to .022 and running E25 I am able to get a stable ~300+ whp (Navardi tuning estimating ~325whp) - 0-60 4.7 seconds. On my car, running 93 octane, I don't think I can make over ~280whp stable - any slightly more aggressive map, and I get constant knocking and timing pulls. And a lot of people saying the same thing on 93 octane - that they are forced to run E20-E25 to prevent timing retard/knock.

Here is a great resource for modding the B4x maintained by Navardi tuning: https://bmwenginewiki.com/en/B48Wiki/B48PowerOutput
