330i Dinan Axleback rattling/squeaking noise
Hey,
I just got a Dinan Axleback installed on my 2024 330i, and realized that there is a rattling/squeaking sound when the valves are closed. There is no noise when the valves are open; only present when it’s closed. I’ve attached a video of the situation with sound. Is this normal? Should I go back to the exhaust shop and get it fixed? Thanks in advance! video |

That is one of the strangest noises I've heard coming from an exhaust lol. Definitely bring it back, sounds like the valve isn't seated correctly.

Dinan exhaust valves known to rattle after some time. Got my muffler assembly replaced under warranty a while back. Doing the same thing again. Only happens at cold start though, so it’s bearable this go-round
