What's your top range on a full tank?
Just finished a 320 ish mile round trip on the motorway. This included some normal driving and hard acceleration.
I'm now left with 9 miles in the tank and completed 450 miles! I know if I were to go the whole leg on the motorway I could easily get 500 miles. So the question is, what is everyone's max range they have got on their M340i? |

I'll tell you shortly, as got a 530 miler coming up. However, the last 20 miles are on a road that you have to have in Sport+

Got back just over a week ago from a 2700 mile road trip around France. Pretty much mixed driving - rural roads, mountainous roads (Verdon Gorge) and motorways at 70 or 80mph - and overall consumption was 54.5mpg.
69 plate 320d x drive in ECO virtually whole trip. Happy with that. |

ex 320d owner where on long trip would see late 60's MPG.
Now with a 530d X-drive and long (200) mile trips see 55 + MPG driven carefully and the car is a 3 litre straight six with 4WD unbeliveable I loved my 3 adore my 5 |

I've managed 470 on a road trip over to Spa, but still had an indicated 70 miles but filled up before going into campsite so haven't actually seen over 500. All motorway, much was through 50mph roadworks then a slow Bimble across Belgium.
I very rarely see the 30 mile warning before filling up, so low 400's is the norm. have a race chip fitted, but that won't help mpg, despite the claims. |
