Some very nice watches on here, thanks for posting the pics. I'm new to Breitling for the most part, so nice to see all the different models. By coincidence, I just came across this while looking into tools for a band resize - kind of a Breitling errata (but totally cringe-worthy, so it gets one of those 'trigger warnings' ):

I think the intent to move toward simpler watches and a streamlined catalog is probably a smart one. Navitimer chronos are classic, but not every Breitling chrono needs to have a half-dozen different chapter ring markings. Their aimed price bracket (~$3500-~$9K) is a smart move, too. Even with in-house movements, Breitling doesn't have the cache of Patek or A. Lange or others to command 5 digit prices, honestly. We'll see how it actually works out, but I like the direction they're headed, although I think $3800 for the 3-hand Navi 8 with the ETA2824 in it is a bit over-inflated. |

About as big as I can pull off on my Michael J Fox sized wrist.

that color combo looks awesome, but the hands are mismatched. Minute hand is too narrow compared to hour's.

My Chronomat, a college graduation gift back when two-tone gold and steel with mother-of-pearl dial was a bit more in fashion...
Also, it's far smaller than most current Breitlings. |

I’ve been wanting a Breitling trans ocean for years but I can’t bring myself to drop 5k on a watch. They’re so nice though

Breitling carries the usefulness of a circular sliderule. After all, they all keep time.
As a professional Aviator is was a backup to calculate fuel weights, time of flight in holding, etc. It's crisp style would make easy reading in low light conditions. That said they are over priced as new. My Seiko Chronometer does all that at 10% the price. Alas it does not have the cachet of being mechanical. And.......I still want a Breitling ! |

I have a Breitling to add to the greater collection as well -- 40mm SuperOcean Heritage... loved the mesh bracelet.
