I'm partial to the Rolex Submariner but don't own one. My wife bought me a Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust for our 25th wedding anniversary so it has sentimental value. I have a Suunto EON Steel Black for a dive watch.
I usually wear an Apple watch Ultra I bought for the heart monitoring feature but once that was resolved, use it for the fitness apps. My Rolex doesn't get worn much so I finally bought a Heiden Nova Series winder that arrived today. I need to wear it more. |

I think you have a great watch on your wrist, I like mesh for the light weight and good wrap around the wrist, the bezel being shiny isn’t a bad idea as it speaks of quality material which most expensive watches may not even boast of, overall it’s a good watch and excellent purchase. I love it, please wear with pride. 😉 |

a few thoughts...
I really enjoy "entry level" watches. There are some very attractive affordable watches from Casio, Timex, Citizen, Seiko and micro-brands using Seiko movements in my collection. Personally my favourite movements are atomic solar movements from Citizen or Casio rather than automatics but I'll even buy a quartz movement if I like the watch. One simple trick I use extensively is applying a circular tempered glass screen protector on mineral crystals.
