Alloy wheel refurb

Hi All,

Any recommendations for alloy wheel refurbishers in or around the Dunstable/Luton area?

Contacted Wicked wheels but they want to do all four when I only need both passenger side wheels done.

Have also contacted Chips away but they haven't come back to me with a price yet.

Just had an estimate back from Chips

£140+vat per wheel so for the two that's £336 assuming they don't find any more damage than what they can see from the pictures I sent them.

Does that sound about right for 791M wheels ?

Might get better response if you post into the default G20 forum, rather than the "off-topic" sub-forum

My locsl bmw dealer do them themselves - £120 per rim from memory. Might be worth checking your dealer?

Thanks for your reply.

I didn't think to check with BMW until they emailed me a month ago to say they had an offer on wheel refurbs.

I visited my local dealer, Sytner in Luton and they said no problem £81 per wheel.

I had them repaired this week and they have come out like new so very pleased with the end result and far cheaper than Chips away or another independent wheel refurb place I had a quote from.

That’s an absolute bargain sometimes worth checking with your local dealer first I got a good deal on tyres, quite surprised really.
