I have often wondered why some members have a country flag attached to their reply/post counts in the user details panel, and some don't.

Does anyone know why?

I thought it might be under “Edit your details” and the country setting at the bottom, but not sure UK is sticking for me as its blank again after saving.

I just tried changing my location from UK to US under “Edit your details” on the site and the flag disappeared completely. I then tried it again from the app under "Title, Location, Signature" and it works OK. I did have to pick a different county and then change it back to UK to get it working OK in the app though.

I managed to get the Union Jack. It seems the key is to set the flag in the App as you suggest.

I was hoping to use the English flag but that wasn't an option in the App's drop-down. Wonder how the guys who have the English flag managed to get it.

In theory setting it via the site is supposed to work... England is an option on the page there so they must have set it that way when it was working.
