Hey Im new to the app just got a bmw had a question regarding spark plugs I got a notification saying my spark plugs are due and wanted to get an estimate on how much will it cost me so when I go to dealer to get it serviced I know I dont get finnsed. pls lmk guys and so excited to find and learn more about the community 💯

Good morning,

I just had my second oil change on Saturday and the spark plugs needed to be replaced. BMW in Louisville, KY charged $450.81 for the spark plugs replacement. Hope this helps.

How many miles are you at triggering this? I thought for the G20 it was 60,000 or every 6 oil changes (where that's driven by 10,000 miles per oil change, not the fact it's the sixth oil change). At least that's what the manual in my glovebox says.

yoo watsup man, i’m at 57k mileage rn I got the notification from bmw app saying my oil change due and spark plugs need to be replaced so wanted to know if others had it changed and estimate on how much

My dealer suggested to change them every 35k miles. I thought they said the first change would be covered under the basic maintenance plan (I'm going to verify once I take delivery). After that they want $750 to do it. Sounds pretty high but I'm not brave enough to try getting to the sixth plug on my own.

That's not the service interval unless it's a full M car, but if it's covered by the basic maintenance plan, then might as well.
