Full screen apple carplay

Hi,

Updated mine recently, it worked but its pretty streched though. Please check photos bellow:

I checked bmw software updates, and I have an update available UPD11024.bin. I am going to wait from updating until I get a response from here.

Have an compatbile bimmercode adapter, and I paid the full 50 euros.

Hi, it's odd because my default screen is just like the pictures everyone is posting.

BTW, is it possible to enable YouTube videos on the carplay by coding it ?

Apple will never allow Youtube videos on Carplay. There are some hacks for jailbroken iPhones however.
On Android Auto it's a little easier to bypass the restrictions.

Ok.

So far i've only seen CarTube which work on iOS > 13.7 and < 15.5. Are there any other alternatives you are aware of for iOS 16.6 ?

I’m a new member and just purchased a 2018 build G20. While the car has iDrive 7, I have not been able to connect Apple CarPlay and have not been able to connect it to MyBMW app. Can someone please help me. I have a BM 430i 2017 model. I recently bough Apple car play from a third party company but it only covers half of the iDrive Screen. Can someone let me know how can i update my firmware to get this full screen and also enable Youtube on apple car play

Youtube isn’t possible without third party device
