Anyone with a lease from Alphabet ever had a NIP and, if so, how long did it take for you to get it from the date of offence?

I don’t know, not helpful I know, but it’d be in your best interest to chase it up I’m guessing.

I don't know if there is anything to chase up is my point. I think I *may* have been caught by a mobile trap but obviously the NIP (if any) would be sent to Alphabet - I just wonder how long they might potentially take to send it back to the authorities with my details.

Thank you but I know the legal requirement in that the Police have to notify the keeper within 14 days and then Alphabet have to reply within 28 days for the Police to then re-issue, giving a absolute worst-case sceanrio of 14+28+14 but I was wondering if anyone had a NIP redirected in practice and wondered how long it took.

Do you have the "Advance Fines Notification" service mentioned at the start of that doc enabled? Would be worth getting that turned on as you'll get some form of notification in 24 hours, although it may be too late this time...

I didn't know until you posted that such a thing was available, but I'll sign up for it. Probably too late on this occasion; it was getting on for 5 weeks ago.
