Software Updates re-enabled.
Hello, before sending the DME out I disabled Remote Software upgrades via the app. I just checked today and they just magically enabled again. I dont even have the option to disable in the iDrive screen. Is there a way to completely stop the car from updating? Im worried when I reinstall the DME, its going to update.

The setting is buried. You can turn it off in the MyBMW app and within iDrive. You have to log into your MyBMW account to have the option to turn it off in iDrive.

You have to uncheck remote software upgrade under the Data Privacy menu in iDrive. Only way to effectively disable the feature.
