Hey all, this is my first time posting here. Apologies if the etiquette isn’t quite right!

Buying my first new BMW and ordered a 2024 M340i Xdrive. Have fallen in love with the car and B58 engine has been calling my name.

I’ve gotten my tracking update and the car has entered the production queue.

Was just curious on others who have placed an order on a 2024 and what status it is in?

Also- any ideas if there have been equipment that became standard in the 2024? I believe I saw wireless phone charging as standard, but could be mistaken.

I’ve just ordered my 2024 M340 from canada an got told mine will be starting it’s production in october time and got told i could possibly receive it by the christmas time. This is my first time ordering an super excited.

M Enhanced Track Package
Advanced Driver Assistance Package
M Sport Pro Package
Adaptive M Suspension
Frozen Tanzanite Blue Metallic
Carbon Fibre Trim
BMW Individual- Fjord Blue/Black Full Merin
Wireless Device Charging

Then i also got the M Performance exhaust added to it because it just sounds great with it.

Do we know when MY24s are scheduled to start going down the production line in Mexico? My M340i xDrive has been stuck in "production begins" going on two weeks now.

According to MY24 pricing/order guides SOP is Aug 2023. You should see progress in about 1-2 weeks. Good news: your build is confirmed and parts are allocated from suppliers.

I have an 2024 M340i that hit Final Assembly on Saturday. So looks like production is underway.

Not sure. Mine has been set on “Production begins” for only a week. The dealership did tell me 4-6 weeks for delivery, though I was always thought that sounded very optimistic lol.

Ordered- July 22nd
Production begins- July 25th

It’s quite the process, basically have to strip the entire trunk. Also with the cost I’m curious how much it would be to use OEM parts

My buddy put an order in for a m340xi and it turns out he’s getting a MY24. I’m living vicariously through his ordering process. .

Talk about a process to get one of these
things, eh?

He went to bmw in May, got an allocation July 8th.
The car entered the production queue around July 24?

Is anyone past production queue?

Few of us have moved to "production begins" but have been stuck there for days/weeks. My car is in Mexico, I'm guessing your buddy's car is coming out of Europe given the color.

Build tracker doesn’t say either way. I’m under the impression it’s 8.0 based on G20 not being mentioned in a 8.5 press release I read a few months back.

I just placed a deposit for a september allocation at my local dealer. Unfortunately was told that BMW is not doing any individual colors on regular "Non-M" cars.

Bit of a bummer, but excited otherwise for my 2024 M340

m shadowline package
extended shadowline trim
premium package
parking package
drivers assistance package
M adaptive suspension
HK audio
drive recorder
remote start
19” black all season RFTs (will change these immediately and kinda wish i went with the cooling and performance package) but you live and learn!

I ordered my M340 on Jul 6th and it went into PB on Jul 17th and today it skipped to Entering Assembly Line. So excited for this car to come in.

I opted for:

Skyscraper Grey with Cognac interior and CF trim
Advanced Driver Assistance Package
Adaptive M suspension
M Sport Pro Package
Premium Enhanced
