My current setup:

Modified Simlab EVO rig
Simucube 1 with Large Mige motor (30Nm)
Ascher F64 wheel and 5” dash
VRS pedals
Triple 27” monitors
4 bass shakers, one at each corner
Haptic pedal motors
2 DIY wind simulators

I know my cable management sucks

Mostly on iRacing but occasionally will jump on AC for funsies.

I recently added a SimXperience G-belt active belt tensioner. It’s by far the single most expensive piece of equipment I have but the increase in immersion has been incredible. Just being strapped in makes me feel like I’m in a race car. Then when the shoulder harnesses compress on braking, cornering and even over crests it starts to feel almost believable. Combined with other haptics (bass transducers under the seat and pedals, multiple exciters in the seats) it does a pretty good job at making the cars feel alive. I don’t ever plan to add motion so this is as far as I’ll go. It’s great value for money.

I’ve been to World of Racing in SoCal a few times (highly recommend checking them out). Their $25k 4-DOF motion rigs with triple screens, top of the line Simucube wheelbases and Heusinkveld pedals are awesome, but honestly I find my setup somehow more immersive.

How do you like the GT Omega ART rig with your setup? Any issues with flex or stability? I've been thinking of getting a GT Omega rig, just can't decide if I should get the ART or the Titan with a DD wheel.

The ART definitely flexes with my 8nm DD wheel. I installed the accessory cockpit support bar which helped quite a bit but it’s still there. The pedal plate also has some flex and wouldn’t be able to handle anything stiffer than v3 pedals. Switching from the RS6 adjustable seat to an NRG fixed bucket noticeably reduced back movement underwent braking. I’d go at least Titan or, even better, an aluminum profile rig to maximize upgrade options down the road.

Not as much as professional compared to other setups, but enough for racing from time to time while having a bear.

70 Inch Philips Ambilight 4k TV / Beamer

Denon 7.2 AV Audio Setup with Magnat Needle Speaker

XBOX Series X, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch

Some fancy Philips HUE light installation which is connected with the whole entertainment system

Logitech G29 Steering Wheel, Pedals and Shifter

Playset Red Bull Racing Edition

3D Printed Bear Holder next to the shifter :-D

.....oh and we can race next to the M8 Comp. Convertible :-)

My simple setup. I share this area of the house with my kids, so I have to keep the rig mobile and push it aside when not in use. Nowhere near as clean or eye pleasing as others here, but it does the job for me I plan to get the belt tensioner setup later this month.

Interesting to see plywood! Definitely unique among a sea of aluminum profile rigs. How are you liking it?

I can’t speak to aluminum, so my only comparison is the Next level Racing wheel stand:

Weight wise, the entire RSR-21 rig weighed less than the NLR Wheelstand. And with the Heusinkveld pedals there’s absolutely no flex on the pedal box.

The drawback of the RSR21 is the lack of modular add-ons compared to aluminum rigs. This is going to come down to preference, but I think the RSR21 is more eye pleasing than solid aluminum rigs.

Plus the owner of RSR used to do aerodynamics for Williams Racing, so that weighed into my decision lol

My rig is:
AMD Ryzen 5800X,
Nvidia GTX 3090
96GB RAM
HTC Vive Pro
Thrustmaster T300 RS GT

It runs Assetto Corsa and BeamNG with good FPS. VR was a game changer for me. I still can't get over how much immersion it provides. Many times, I don't race just sit in the car(s) or cruise along slowly on the track. Proprioceptive illusion (the visceral feeling) is really a thing too.

hi guys,

I seen some very nice setup here, I'm actually playing on Xbox X series, didn't feel like investing in a gaming PC yet despite a less attractive choice on console .However I went with :

Fanatec DSL DD and QR2 8nm
Universal Hub V2
Forza steering wheel
CSL pedals

and that GT racer cockpit (very standard )

a 55inch TV with the appropriate FOV
I went a tad cheap on the TV but manage to keep playing at 2K 120hz which is good enough .

Here are some night pictures, and I'm playing mostly ACC.
