I used to have elites x pipe on my e90 m3 basically get pulled over once a month in LA .

Now that I have g20 330i I promised my self I will not be doing anything to the exhaust but it just sounds like a bitch car .... what is the best thing I can do to not really void the warranty and not add insane amount of sound but just a little so you can hear something . Thanks in advance !! I'm just not that 17 year old kid anymore

My friend recommended a hole in the exhaust? And patch it up later? ( he did it on his i8 lmao) ... will this work for minimum sound? This doesn't sound right to me lol.... I'm willing to pay 500-1000 . Don't suggest a crazy exhaust system cuz idc that much for it.

A DP apparently gives you a better sound (I don't personally know since my car doesn't have one and I haven't heard a car with just a DP change). Problem is, you'll probably have a CEL and if you're in a state where you need to do emission tests regularly, it'll be a huge PITA.

I've been looking at getting a DP but worried about the CEL, also wondering if a
anti fouler can be used to prevent the CEL from coming on. Used one before on a older car and it worked but not sure if they still work on newer cars.

the active autowerke downpipe guarantees no CEL with their catted downpipe.

Active Autowerke catted downpipe is for B48 engine, will not fit B46 on US models.
