792M with Performance Non Run-Flat Option
If selected does this option get you the Michelin PS4S staggered setup? I have seen it said that you need to get the ZTK package to get the staggered Michelin's but it does not add it when I select this wheel option. Just adds the spare for $150 plus $600. Do not need the bigger brakes and cooling but really want the staggered Michelin's when I switch over to an M340 in the near future.

I ordered mine with the staggered 792Ms and P-Zero runflats. I had originally selected the ZTK package but unselected it bc I wasn't sure about a daily driver on go-flats and no spare...regret it now. Huge brakes, extra oil cooler and MPS4s for only $1500 is a gimme.

Thanks for input. I agree it is a great value but my reason for not wanting it is I read a few posts about the oil cooler not being well protected and prone to damage but mainly I am very limited to 18" winter wheel options with the bigger brakes. It looks like you need to go with the OEM 796m winter wheel/tire package to clear the bigger brakes, guess that is not a bad option that I would be happy with tho and I would be OK with the run-flats in the winter. With the ZTK I get to keep the trunk space also which is nice. Is the oil cooler being exposed really an issue or am I overthinking it?

With that said, I reached out to Fall-Line Motorsports and they advised they will be making a protective kit for the new M3/M4. I'm not sure if they are sharing parts, but hopefully this will fit our cars as well for anyone concerned. |
