K&N air filter

I was wondering if K&N air filter for g20 fits 2021 model as well?

I got 2021 330xi. I was looking into intakes and air filters but pretty much all of them fit 19-20 models. Wasn't sure if there are any changes to 21 models.

Also, I got JB+ tuner. Still haven't reached 1k miles yet so I'm waiting till I kind of break in my car.

K&N simply has bigger pores in the filter which equals more air/performance but also a lot more dust/debris, which cannot be good for the engine -

These just happens to be the tests I saved in my bookmarks but these results have been replicated by literally every independent test that's been done properly.

Air filters fundamentally need to FILTER material.

Filters fundamentally engineered with two main characteristics in mind which are in polar opposite to one another. Filtration vs Flow. The best filter let's NOTHING through, a steel plate will do that but flow will also be zero. NO filter at all will have the BEST possible flow but filter nothing.

OEM filters are EXTREMELY well manufactured nowadays as is almost every other component. Gone are the days of easy power when it comes to hardware. In the 80s and 90s sure maybe a stock airbox was designed poorly and filter element sized badly but this simply doesn't exist anymore. The fight for efficiency has caused intake tracts to be VERY well engineered. Filters basically have very low pressure drops while filtering VERY well.

I had a K&N filter for a bit (couple of weeks max) before going back to stock. I couldn't make out any perceptible difference with it on. Save the money for something else.
But yes. Coming back to your question. It should fit since they haven't changed anything with the 2021 330i engine wise.

Get a good paper filter and call it a day.

If nothing else remember one thing

The stock airbox (and for the most part, all the intake plumbing) is nearly identical between B46/B48 and the B58 engine which has 50% more displacement. How in the world does anyone think the intake will be a restrictive element given this piece of knowledge?

Dyno numbers for shit like intakes and exhausts are always cherry picked numbers. If you can't measure any meaningful flow difference on a flow bench it does not matter what the dyno charts the manufacturer provides says (because dynos have a lot of noise in the days due to all the real world variables you cannot hold constant... This is even before you deal with manufacturers that set out to mislead by using dyno trickery)
