Cool Carbon Fiber Grille

Hi guys,

I just wanted to show you my new gift from myself to me. A carbon fiber grille. I have to say the from my point of view, the regular black grille looks too glossy for my taste, like a f**king moustache.

But this one...different story

Let me know what you think!

I like the CF grill more than the gloss black grill. I think the CF is a shade just light enough that it makes the grill design stand out. I have the gloss black grill on my sapphire black M340i, and though I like it more than the cerium gray or chrome, the entire front ends up looking like one big mass of black because the color ends up hiding the front end's design elements when viewed under anything but harsh sunlight. I've noticed this more and more on other cars where the entire front is gloss black. I'm thinking of painting the outline of my grill an anthracite or liquid black chrome, or maybe even a deep, dark bronze (to match the bronze wheels) to help break it up a bit (just the outline of the grill, not the inserts or slats).
