Exchange wheels?

I recently bought a used approved 330i, which has come with some lovely looking, but very firm riding M Performance Y Spoke 795m 20" alloys on P Zero tyres. They do look cool, but I'm worried they might be a bit delicate on the terrible road surfaces around me, and I definitely feel the bumps. They're also worth a fortune, at over £1000 per corner.
I'm considering changing them down to some smaller wheels - partly for a smoother ride, and also to recoup some of the cost of buying the car! Has anyone ever heard of a dealership "part exchanging" wheels?
And also, do you think it would make a lot of difference to the ride, going to slightly smaller wheels with some bigger profile tyres? If it's going to be night and day and I'll feel like I'm floating then great, but if I'll be concentrating hard or noticing any difference maybe not worth it.

Cheers

Can't say I have heard of a dealership PX wheels. Why don't you just sell them privately and yes you will feel the difference especially if you you don't have adaptive suspension. 19's will give you the best balance of aesthetics and comfort & I would also switch to non runflats.
