Any M340D's?

Has anyone taken delivery of an M340D touring? I can't find one to test drive anywhere and wondered what any owners think of their cars, especially compared to M340i's.

I think Joe Achilles has answered this very question...

Why would you do that?!! Unless it was an M340d owner who didn't like the square exhausts?!

I had a 35d and felt it was all the car I'd ever need. The 40d engine was a bit late to the party else I would have chosen it. I am thinking of going electric next year. It depends on how good the i4 is. That aussie chick reviewed it a while ago. Well the exterior anyway.

Hi all,

New to the forum..

I have one on order, no confirmed build slot yet. Decided to go with the Diesel as I will be using this for work too. Having owned an M2 previously the m340d strikes the right balance for me between fuel economy and performance. Decided to take the leap and opted for individual paint (San Marino Blue) I will post some pics when the car arrives but at the moment who knows when that will be 😳 cheers

That's good to hear. 40mpg around town with that performance is hard to beat.

Sounds great. Do you mind sharing what they are charging for SMB - the BMW UK Visualiser says its £4,385

That's about right... 😳I was initially going to order Tanzanite but decided against and also took off the comfort pack to offset the monthly's a little. Happy with my decision as I know I won't get board with this colour, every time I see SMB it blows me away. Can't wait

I agree it's a wonderful colour. You've probably seen them but if not check out the pictures posted by Daftasabrush of his SMB F31.

Just seen this, they sure have bumped the price of SMB up! It cost me £1380 iirc. I'm guessing it's more because it's no longer on a production model? When I ordered mine it was only on the M6.
