What did you learn or discover about your G20 3 Series recently?

This was an immensely helpful and quite interesting thread over on M3Post. So, what is something that you found interesting, or Easter-egg-like, about your car that you didn't know?

I found out that my car (for 4/3 PCD!) will come with a card type key in addition to the regular fobs which I am really excited about.

Pics of the feature or discovery you made are encouraged

330e specific

The battery has a little arrow to the side of the charging port, the same way the fuel icon has an arrow to the side of the fuel port

You can code it in. Not sure but I think you have to have driver assist at least, maybe pro

The following can only be done via coding:
-Anti Dazzle Laser headlights to EU spec
-Lane Change assistance, on the condition that the driver's assistance professional package was selected
-Alpina Digital Dials

Aesthetics:
Extended Merino and Full Merino Leather were available upon allocation starting July 2019, not on orders before this date.
-CD player option can be installed in glove box, somehow a special wiring harness is needed and/or the G20 has to be prepped from the factory for the install. Very unclear and vague on how this is done
-Interior Glow for Kidney Grill can be added, but again instructions are unclear and vague on where the button is to be installed or located.

-G20 Vehicle uses both a Lithium Ion Battery Pack and Standard Lead-Acid Battery Pack

-There are no written or video comparison reviews of 330 xDrive BMW G20 equipped with and without the M-Sport Differential for comparison. Having a point of reference without jumping into the m340i which comes standard with M-Sport Differential would be good during the purchasing phase.

If you press the speed limiter button and let it go quickly you have to,set a new speed limit manually when prompted.

However, if you hold the button down a small, green tick appears in HUD nad, as if by magic, the speed limit automattically adjusts without any Driver involvement.

Unlike my F34......you don't need to select neutral when Parking up..just press the 'P' button on the selector and it goes to neutral automatically.

Simple but a nice touch.

Wait. Your car goes to neutral automatically? Or do you mean P? My car has never gone to neutral.

I don’t even touch the gear lever when I’m parking. Just turn the car off when it’s in gear and it automatically moves to P.

I told mine to keep in comfort and eco only lol. She's driven it a few times and remarked how fast it is. Her daily is a 4RX. Her next car will be either 330i M sport or an X3 , so she can gradually adjust.🤓

Yeah we came from a 3RX, and she's totally cool with driving the X5 in sport plus. It's much quicker than the 3RX but not overly so. The second she tried it in the m340 she freaked out. Said it feels "violent"

The auto hold option is absolutely amazing. So simple, yet for city driving its so convenient.

The last thing you want is thinking auto hold is on, and it really isn't on...

I learned that the silver arrows on either side of the toggle on the right side of the steering wheel can be used to go one song/station forward and backward. I thought they were just accents like a piece of trim. I'm glad I discovered this because the toggle is very slippery and tricky to work with a thumb.

I learned that despite having the premium package and a pretty loaded vehicle, the steering column adjustment is surprisingly not motorized for adjustments and auto high-beams only come with the laser lights. Both should be standard features really. I am also glad I listened to my rep and did not order the wireless charging as it seems to be quite a disappointment and troublesome.
