0-60 and 1/4 mile times for M340xi with Tunes

Does anyone have real numbers on what a tune will do for a M340xi?
I’ve seen tons of dyno results but no before and after 0-60 and 1/4 mile.

I’m seriously looking at the Mission Stage 2 and would love to see some track data

There was video posted of an M340xi with a bench flash by a local tuner that tunes all cars (don't know dyno numbers - but I assume that Mission Performance / MHD / PTF are at or above the same level) and results were:
  • on snow tires but dry pavement
  • had a downpipe (don't know catted or not)
  • 0-60 in 3.45
  • 1/4 in 11.54

How much of a difference would it be without a downpipe?

not much - my car is putting down a conservative 463 wheel with a catted DP - I've seen Alex with M340's on the dyno 100% stock putting down 470+ .

While I'm sure it helps with time to spool - I don't personally think with a stage 1/2 it's a drastic difference.

Did you upgrade and space your spark plugs?

No and yes - my car came from the factory with NGK plugs and given I had less than 1000 miles on the car (meaning plugs were almost new) I simply regapped my oem plugs to 0.022.

Interesting thing with re-gapping the plugs. On my last car (a 340) I had the car tuned (stage 2 MP) for several thousand miles and a couple autoX events before I regapped the plugs so I had some decent seat time to compare before and after.

I didn't really think I would notice a difference - figured it was more for engine health than anything - but I did. While the car was really great before it was just a little better with the plugs gapped - the power delivery was a bit smoother and the overall pull was a little bit more linear. I was pleasantly surprised

Would it be on the window sticker if I have the NGK plugs?
I really really appreciate your feedback on this. Extremely helpful

Holy hell. That is probably the fastest M340i time I've seen so far! Details on the mods?
