Active Autowerke Catted Downpipe Cold start and Revs

Just installed the Active Autowerke Catted downpipes- here's a video for comparison (vs stock).

If you're interested in other video's let me know- inside the cabin, drive by, or whatever else you can think of.

I'm planning on installing the Dinan Quad exhaust set up soon, so gotta do what I can before the exhaust note changes.

Nice, AA puts out a really quality DP- while I have CG-Precision DS-1 catted I would have gone with AA if available at the time.

For me the catted DP run through the stock muffler is perfect - but I am anxious to hear how your Dinan setup works out! The Dinan exhaust is a great piece!

I installed the aa catted plus dinan axleback, in sport plus is absolutely louder in comfort a bit loud to my taste, would like that in comfort it be a little more quiet and without a drone (2-3k rpm)

So I guess Downpipe only should be good enough for a little more volume without adverse effect..

I have one coming in soon, can't wait.

Can we install a down pipe in the EU or do they fail you when you are getting the car checked for road worthiness after 3 years here in <spain

AA says the cat on their downpipe is rated according to the US EPA standards. It's not approved for CARB. I think EU is stricter than the States in terms of emissions controls.

Do you have a sound clip of your set up? I have the Dinan exhaust as well, and am currently shopping the AA downpipe to round out the exhaust. I'm curious how the whole package sounds. Thanks!

Downpipes that use Euro 6 cats which are supposed to be legal in Europe are not EPA approved.

The US might be stricter than Europe when it comes to emission regulations

no its the other way around.

GESI cats are approved in the US and as far as I know, would pass in Europe as well. This is why I'm thinking emission laws are stricter in the US
