The very first Alpina B3 Touring
Great news for all Estate/ Wagon fans and us Aussies as the very first Alpina B3 Touring arrives in Australia!
What a stunner IMO.. Based on the current gen 3 series and comes with 340kW (55kW more than m340i touring 285kW) with the same 3.0L B58 inline six engine. Interior is epic with hand stitched Lavalina leather and wood grained interior, in line with Alpina's luxury standards.. We unfortunately don't have an M3 wagon, at least just yet and we Aussies don't even have the m340i Touring in our line-up, so this is a welcome sight! We currently only have the 330i Touring and its no where close to this B3. If I could grab one, I would definitely settle with the Alpina B3 touring in lieu of an M3 wagon and the new grill |

I agree it is great to see the B3 wagon. Except for those bloody awful wheels. Yes I know they are the "classic" Alpina wheels, but they are ugly.
While its disappointing that BMW Australia only brings in the 330i wagon, spare a thought for our US friends who don't get any G21 models at all. Thanks for the photos Tony |

But weirdly, why does it have the lowest spec LED headlamps (don't get me wrong, I'd still take it!)? |

I thought it would be a regulatory issue in Australia, I am aware you can spec lasers in the EU. Thanks for the clarification though! |

Looks really good in that colour but still Alpina Blue or Green, Deco Set delete, although I don't mind it on the front lip, Alpina logo on said lip in black and black grille for me please.

This vehicle is BEAUTIFUL.
I'm continually bitter that the US are unappreciative dolts when it comes to sport wagons.

YES, thank you. Never liked the Alpina wheels myself! The weakest link in the entire Alpina package IMO.
