MSRP or Sticker was $67,420. Dealership just internally discounted to.$62,089-$1000 =$61,089. Discount off sticker $6331.

I wrote a check for $67,750 and drove off with an M340i X drive fully loaded with every possible option.

I’m 23 and I showed up to the dealership in shorts and with very unkempt hair. Everyone else there was like 40-50 and all dressed up, and I feel like I got a pretty reasonable deal (see above. Obviously it’s not as crazy as some of the deals people in bigger areas have gotten, but it’s probably as good as it was gonna get in Missouri haha).

I asked for 8% off the MSRP, and my sales rep showed me the invoice (which was less than 8%) and said he would ask but that I shouldn’t get my hopes up. When my sales rep came back from talking to the guy in finance, he said “well I’m shocked, but he’s offering you 7.5% off MSRP because you clearly did your research and we want to earn your business.” I then pushed slightly harder, and got a little more off because my sales rep mentioned that I had another appointment at a different dealership in 2 hours.

Also, this is the first time I’ve negotiated the price of a car/been to the dealership that I bought from, so I didn’t get anything for dealer loyalty. Do with that what you will.

What is the actual amount that you'll pay when you add up your downpayment and monthly payments? That's what's you paid for the car.

Finance Charge

For those that financed., what you paid for the vehicle is downpayment + total of monthly payments. So, What will you be paying with finance included.

I was solicited by the dealer. At first the offer was for a car from inventory. They have two in stock that I was not interested in. Their response was same deal for a new build. The only thing I asked for was the 2.99%. Original offer was 3.99%.

So how much will you pay if you add up your down payment and total payments over the terms of your loan?if

Sounds like a decent deal. You might have done slightly better if you shopped around, especially on a car that was already on the lot. 10% off before any applicable rebates/incentives is what I aim for in my area.

I am aware of how financing works, but at 2.99% it is better for me to finance than pay cash given my current and recent market performance. So sure, BMW is making a little extra from me, but I am making even more than that by financing vs paying cash. If you want to pay cash, then you can still match the numbers i gave easily.

Are you from Texas? I am interested in getting a M340i with a good deal.
Do NOT go to BMW Woodlands! They would not budge off the MSRP and wanted 900/mo w 5 k down at 10,000 miles a year! 0 Drive off was over 1100!! *Excluding Tax

Has anyone used Fleet pricing? My sheet says $4400 off 2019 & 2020 3 series. How much discount should I target before adding Fleet? I'm assuming that can't be combined with any other rebates. Any contacts in south Jersey/ Philly area?

are there two different programs?

CORPORATE SALES PROGRAM: Corporate Sales Program Lease or Finance incentives are available to employees of select organizations that have partnered with BMW USA and MINI USA and who do not currently own or have not owned a BMW or MINI in the last twelve months.

The BMW Corporate Fleet Program supports vehicle fleet purchases that are funded through your Fleet Management Company.

Which one can I use if I had a BMW in the last 12 months, and I work for a company that participates in the program, bit is not part of the companys fleet.?

$1000 lease cash
$2000 loyalty
$1000 recent college grad

final sale price: $53535 or something close.
No trade in because I knew they wouldn't be able to get me as good of a deal on my trade as I could from a private sale (which they openly admitted to lol)

I completely forgot to ask about money factor, so I probably got a little higher than I could have (I never actually saw what it was, but I'd assume it was 0.00185), but all in all:

$700.xx a month (taxes included) for 36mo/36000mi with 0 money down. I'm sure I could have paid a few dollars fewer, but considering I walked out only paying $988 (which includes my first month's payment), I can't complain.
$700/month for an M340i sounds crazy to me. I pay $779 including taxes on my F80 M3 Competition (zero down). A loaded M340i should be be about $600/month if you get a good deal.

You're comparing an "older" outgoing model year against a new chassis, though. $600 month for fully loaded (~68K MSRP) with nothing down isn't going to happen this early in the life cycle of a car. That would require a discount of 14-15% off MSRP before incentives, which is unheard of for new models.

That said, you also get what you pay for. The M340 can also hang with the F80 M3.

I just signed my deal this weekend - $580/month for a $68K MSRP M340i, every package except the M-Technology package. The low monthly comes from paying most fees up front (Destination, Dealer Fees, Taxes, etc), Max MSDs and the lower MF for September.

I posted my details based on the July numbers in the quotes thread - https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...&postcount=120

VA taxes on entire selling price of vehicle, right? Ouch to pay that all upfront!

Yes, but compared to other states the tax is only 4.15% which is usually lower than other places. Obviously would be a lot better if they only taxed your lease payments and was still 4.15% though!

Tax on my car was ~$2565, paid up front. If you were paying the taxes on the monthly lease payments, and your rate was 10.25% (the rate for Washington DC as of October 1st, 2018) - you'd pay $2088 in taxes over 36 months plus an initial $433 in taxes on your initial fees. So total of $2,521. A savings of $44.

If I decided to buy the car, I don't pay sales tax again too.

This is using an estimate of my lease #s thrown into a leasehackr calculator and playing with the taxes.

Virginia - https://leasehackr.com/calculator?ma...Tax_radio=true

Washington DC - https://leasehackr.com/calculator?ma...Tax_radio=true

There is a discrepancy of $17/month that I believe comes down to how upfront fees are calculated (I think there is something they are rolling into the lease that the leasehackr calculator isn't).
