330e boot shelf
I'm not sure if my boot shelf is broken or not.
I have somehow managed to break off the right hand hinge. Is the shelf meant to come out? Or can it be taken out for cleaning etc. I have pushed it back on but thought I would see if anyone has smilar experience before I book it into the garage to get it fixed.

Boot Shelf
Mate mine (3 month old) has just 2 rather solid curved rails that fit into 2 slots so if you lift or drop the shelf in position it acts like a hinge but if you pull towards you the rails come out of the slots and the shelf is free so to speak.
Takes a bit of lining up to get the rails back in the slots but there is no "hinge" as such with pins etc like you would on a door etc. Best of luck sorting. |
