My G22 had an update from dealer today from 03/2021.50 to 07/2021.46. It's alleged that this fixes the issue where speed cameras would not show on HUD, only instrument cluster. Not yet tested it.
Did I hear that there's also an 'uneven road' app? It's not showing in apps. In any case what does it do?

I’ve only seen people in the US getting it. I presume in the UK, it would just be constantly warning you of a pothole every so not much use! Perhaps an ‘even road’ app would be useful where you could have confidence not to be constantly looking out for potholes

What a good idea. I bet BMW wish they'd thought of that!
By the way, s/w version 07/2021.46 does now display speed cameras in HUD. All we need now is for an optional acoustic warning.

I am presuming that mobile speed cameras aren't shown (like Waze often does). Unless they do that, might as well stick with Waze. Or actually I can still get warnings played over the speakers if running Android Auto/Waze but with no route planned, while using BM's navigation.

No, it's the release version.

So
21/07.46 is actually
S18A-21-07-546 , it's just hidden from consumers

The version number also starts at 500 which is why they omit the 5

Mine's been into the dealers for the last couple of days. It came home with 21/07, and I would have sworn the version was .47, but maybe it's .46 - can't check without going outside to the car!

I didn't notice any difference on the drive home, or a quick flick through the menus. Shame we don't get decent release notes like the last big OTA upgrade had.

The Apps not connecting sent me mad. Just couldn't do it, so gave up, and it did in its own time. I do live in a very poor area for mobile data, so put it down to that. But who knows? It's technology and has a mind of its own.

I checked the current software version on my G20 and got 03/2022.52. I think it was updated today. When I started the car for the first time today, none of the device sources (radio, sat nav and media) were available for about 10 minutes, then everything magically came back! Has anyone experienced this too?

It would be helpful if the app showed the current version, my wife uses our 320d to commute so I can’t check the version unless I remember to do it during the evening:-(

It would also be helpful if the reason for each update and at least a summary of what's updated/added/deleted were also made available as this is the usual practice by reputable software companies. It would be nice to know what is changed (e.g. bug fixes, enhancements, additional functionality, etc.). Maybe this is already available but I couldn't locate any...
