story short:
had my G20 330e with Driver Assistant package. Loved it to bits. lane keeping assistant and distance control made cruising on motorway like a dream.

changed job... lost my 330e

now it's time to order new car in new job.. I went to BMW website, builder, and I cannot select this package anymore?

Is the lane assistant and automatic distance control with cruise control now a standard option? Or it is not available anymore?!

doing quite a bit of miles per week on motorway and I really want this option...

anyone has an idea? Is this not available anymore (why?!) or it became standard??

p.s. these things come as standard in various peugeots and kias...

For active cruise etc, make sure you have the Driving Assistance Professional Package

I know that I need that package... But did you read what I wrote?

There's no such option!

They’re not standard. I think they are no longer available on certain models due to the global chip shortage.

Per others, it is an option, but only on certain specs/models because of the chip shortage. Currently, only available on the M340i and M340d in the G20/G21. This has changed fairly recently and may well change again.

It is still showing as an option on the G26 Gran Coupe for the M-Sport trim, but sadly, they are not showing a 430e engine option yet; not sure if a 420i or 420d (MHD) might be an option.

It's interesting that it's not even an option, also it looks like HK and wireless charging have actually been removed from the packages on the BMW website as well!

Enhanced B/T, wireless charging and hotspot been unavailable for ages. Dropped from M cars too (where it's standard). H/K only available on M performance or M cars (standard)! All a mess!!
