Great game. I was texting that when it looked like the Pats would lose because of that crazy catch. But then they picked off Wilson. I was the only one in the bar cheering. What a game!!

Just another bad idea like last years Super Bowl:

And I wouldn't say Brady "roasted" the Seahawks. Look how close the game was and the Seahawks matched TD after TD then went on then the offense did their job while Tom just threw the ball to them.

How do they determine SB MVP? Because IMO it should have been Butler since he got the game winning interception.

Butler's life changed in matter of 1 play.

if Seattle had won, he would've been shown for the rest of his life defending that crazy Kearse pass

now, they'll show his INT..

crazy

Just like Dave Roberts of the 2004 Red Sox. One play sets him up as a hero for life in Boston. Dude will never have to pay for a drink in Boston again.

Seattle's decision to pass on that play will be the talk of Seattle talk radio for months to come. Head scratcher for sure.

As a Seattle fan I will say that was a great game. Both teams played with their all. I do not think I will ever understand the decision to pass the ball but it was made and the result is done. I am VERY disappointed in how the D conducted themselves following that however. We took a good showing at the Superbowl and tainted it.

I was watching in a bar and couldn't hear the TV, so I couldn't tell if that was Seattle players starting the shit or Pats players. But it did indeed look bad. Plus the resulting penalty moved the Pats out of the end zone.

I agree both teams played well. I was sure the Pats were going to lose and I still was telling friends that it was the best Super Bowl game I'd seen in a long time. Very competitive. Not many flags.

Yeah, not sure who started the melee. Bennett was in there. I can understand the emotion but it was already over, no need to sink it further.

(but I'm a Pats fan). Most predicted the game to be close and it didn't disappoint. Many f-bombs were dropped in the last 30 seconds of that game but that was a great play by Kearse to end up with that completion. Re: last Seahawks play, I'm guessing they expected the Pats to expect some Beast Mode action and that they'd catch them off with a short pass.

Pretty much my thought. But it was a bad call. It funny. I told my dad that Seattle better not turn the ball over since it's their last drive. I was picturing INT the whole time. When they made it down to the 1 yd line I thought they were in. Then they over thought things and threw it. I think it was a bad play- either the WR was a bit too slow or that Wilson put the ball too far ahead. It should have been closer to his left shoulder. If that happened even if it was incomplete the defender would have had no way of getting the ball. In the end it was, IMO, a bad call/bad play/bad throw/bad catch.

Congratulations to Tom Brady and the Patriots!!!

Way to go!!! Win your 4th SB out of 6 to tie Montana/49ers and Bradshaw/Steelers, keep the Hawks from winning 2 in a row (which only a few teams including the Niners and Patriots have done) and shut up Sherman and the Hawks fans all in one blow.

Must admit that I was worried w/that blocked pass and completion on the ground by Kearse BUT all was well after Butler's INT. Sad to see the Hawks D lose their cool when it became clear that they were going to lose the game after the off-side call and kneel down. They should have shown more class than that -- understandable frustration but unacceptable behavior nonetheless.

The Pats were nothing but gracious in praising the Hawks after the game but I didn't hear a lot of praise given by the Hawks in return. Just a lot of explaining about why they pass when they should have ran. Oh well . . .

Seattle started that brawl/fight at the end. I definitely think they lack class compared to other top franchises. Constant trash talking, Baldwin pretending to sh*t in the endzone, the brawl, etc...

Keep it classy Seattle.

I do like Wilson though. Smart, mature, doesn't talk all that shit like his team mates and a heckuva athlete.

Ticket to the super bowl- 3 grand.
Hotel for 2 nights- $500.
Flight to Arizona- $500.
The looks on Richard Sherman's face- Priceless.
There are some things money can't buy. For everything else...

Sorry, I had to. It's just poking fun. No hard feelings toward Seahawks as I was rooting for them to win.
